We intentionally overstaffed our team, not only to deliver fast, reliable service to our paying clients, but to make space for something bigger: giving back. When our team has natural downtime, we use that energy to support nonprofits like A Ray of Hope Support Network—and they were one of the very first we had the honor of partnering with.
Now, years later, their light is still reaching further. And we’re proud to say we helped build the foundation they stand on.
Who They Are and Why They Matter
A Ray of Hope Support Network exists to remind families raising children with special needs that they’re not alone. Founded by Racquel Sommer, this nonprofit walks beside families who often feel isolated and overwhelmed, offering a faith-based support system, practical resources, and deep community connection.
What sets A Ray of Hope apart isn’t just what they do — it’s how they do it.
- Peer-Led Support Groups: Whether online or in-person, these spaces provide a safe haven where parents can share honestly, cry openly, and celebrate wins big or small with others who truly understand.
- Resource Sharing: From how-to guides for navigating IEP meetings to prayer-led encouragement for caregivers, their resource hub is filled with tools that meet both practical and emotional needs.
- Community Events & Volunteerism: Every gathering, virtual or local, is run entirely by volunteers. A Ray of Hope empowers others to give back and creates opportunities for new leaders to rise.
- Church & Community Partnerships: By working with churches across the U.S., they help more communities launch their own support groups, spreading light even further.
This isn’t just a nonprofit. It’s a movement of love and advocacy for families often left out of the conversation.
How We’ve Supported Their Mission
Back when A Ray of Hope was just beginning to expand, we stepped in with what we do best: powerful web development and digital support. By offering them a professional-grade website completely free of charge, we helped them amplify their mission, host virtual events, register volunteers, and receive donations seamlessly.
And because we’ve continued to maintain that platform over the years, at no cost, they’ve been able to focus their energy where it belongs: on the families they serve.
Every donation they receive goes directly to impact, not administrative overhead. That’s something we’re proud to make possible.
