Rohring Results and the website Rohring Results.com are operated by Rohring Results. Privacy matters to Rohring Results and we strive to ensure that our security policies respect and protect your privacy and are in strict compliance with the data privacy laws in effect.


This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. The Business Owners who administer the survey (referred as Feedback) own and control your responses.

We collect some data from your browser for analytic purpose (country, user agents, IP address, device), as well as personal data which you consent to give (email, etc.).

Besides this, we also store cookie and local store in order to improve your experience and ensure you don’t answer more than once the same survey when you’re not allowed to.

Note that the Business Owner might also track your behavior and survey completion using any Analytics platform such as Google Analytics or Facebook. You can find out by asking them directly.

We just host them on our websites and collect your responses for Creators. If you have any questions about a survey you took or a questionnaire you completed, please contact the Business Owner directly. Rohring Results is not usually responsible for that content. The Business Owner is usually the same person who invited you to take the survey or questionnaire or complete the form or application and they should have their own Privacy Policy.

We do control use and analyze usage data about you (for example, looking at page view data, response rates and survey type):

  • to make our recommendations around surveys or service included on our website at the end of a survey taking experience more relevant,
  • to improve the user interface, and to maintain a consistent and reliable user experience, and to improve services by looking at what questions Clients are asking and the quality of their responses and response rates so that we can work on our existing features and build new ones to optimize question/answer rates for Clients.

  • Stripe Inc, as a payment gateway for the subscriptions
  • Paypal Inc. for the processing of the money reward available from the application.
  • Capterra in order to track the conversions from the PPC campaign
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Digital Ocean for the hosting

You may opt out from any third-party and marketing campaign.

Note that none of your clients’ data is sent nor used for any marketing purpose. Your client’s data is yours and you have the obligation to let them know about your usage and how you’re going to use it.

Prohibition on the sale of personal data

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it’s release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety. Any personal information we hold about you is stored and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

How do we protect your information?

Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider (Stripe) and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Who owns the data?

Your Feedback Surveys and any responses you collect to them are private by default. We don’t sell individual responses to anyone and we don’t use those responses for purposes unrelated to you or improving our services. Some uses we do make of respondent related data includes, for example, in our survey tool aggregating usage trends around Respondents (types of questions answered and success of specific survey and question types over time) – this is done so we can make more accurate recommendations to you around use of our services.

We safeguard respondent email addresses

To make it easier for you to invite people to fill out a Feedback Survey via email, you may upload lists of email addresses, in which case Rohring Results acts as a mere custodian of that data. We don’t sell these email addresses and we use them only as directed by you and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The same goes for any email addresses collected in your account.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small text files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. They are unique to your account or your browser. Session-based cookies last only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Rohring Results uses cookies to record log data. We use both session-based and persistent cookies (or local Storage used as a per service cookie).

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data?
